Gorillaz Cancel U.S Summer Tour

Earlier this summer, Gorillaz announced a handful of US shows that were going to take place in September. Unfortunately, they have been cancelled with vague explanation as to why they were being cancelled so far in advance. The band released the following statement:

“We are gutted not to be able to perform for you this year. We were really looking forward to it and we hope to get back to you again as soon as we can. We love our Gorillaz family and we can’t wait to see you again.”

The tour would have featured Kaytranada, Lil Yachty, and Remi Wolf and was scheduled to hit Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, and Boston.
