Stream New Deafheaven Album Now Via NPR

Deafheaven are back with the first new record in 3 years, called "Ordinary Corrupt Human Love". We're only partway through, but it sounds like a definite step forward musically. They're definitely dabbling in more shoegaze-y areas, while staying true to their black metal core. Chelsea Wolfe appears on a track as well, which is a collab we never thought about, but it totally makes sense and works perfectly. Ok, I'll stop pretending like I'm breaking down a record I haven't even listened to all the way yet. But I'm really enjoying it so far, and you might too. Check it out here.
