Thom Yorke & Paul Thomas Anderson's 'ANIMA' Short Film Hits Netflix

If you haven’t heard by now, Thom Yorke’s new “dystopian” solo project ANIMA is now streaming. And it’s just lovely. What makes it even more lovely is that the previously announced short film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson is now streaming on Netflix as well. And it’s a trip. Any time a highly anticipated album comes out, there’s really no better companion than a legitimate short film. Music videos are great, but often certain projects simply call for something more. And ANIMA is one of those. It’s an incredibly strong visual component to the record, and within the first couple minutes is so obvious that these two geniuses gel together so nicely.
