Taking Back Sunday @ House of Vans [PHOTOS]

This past weekend brought yet another incredible Vans House Party to the Chicago venue and there was a lot to be excited about. Taking Back Sunday curates an incredible lineup with Pronouns and Roswell Kid starting the show, as well as an art installation by Brian Ewing. With a skate ramp out back and a solid mix of indie/pop-punk bands in the bill, it felt like a mini Vans Warped Tour and everyone was very ok with that. Taking Back Sunday delivered a set full of nostalgia and a few rare pulls from their first two records. Frontman Adam Lazzara was noticeably excited about the unique event, declaring his love for the opening bands, the House of Vans venue, and the Ewing’s art (whom he considers a personal friend). At one point Lazzara announced that he was told to keep the talking to a minimum, but he just couldn’t contain his enthusiasm for the event. And neither could the crowd. It was an electrifying performance that got the capacity crowd on their feet for the whole show. Check out photos form the event below!
