Sufjan Stevens Announces New Album, Drops new Track

Sufjan Stevens is back with new music, and there’s more on the way. He’ll be releasing his next LP titled Javelin on October 6 via Asthmatic Kitty Records. The first single is a beautiful and serene track called “So You Are Tired” and was released with an accompanying visualizer designed by Rena Johnson. This marks Stevens’ first traditional solo LP since 2020’s The Ascension and, according to a press release, it’s his first true singer-songwriter album since Carrie & Lowell.
